This episode is imo kind of better than 7 x 1. It has the build up of suspense that is so palpable. Though, I love 7 x 1 so much. I kind of have Negan's lines memorized through 7 x 1 and for a lot of season 7. JDM has such a distinct line delivery that it would have been hard not to basically memorize them. But in this episode you feel The Saviors surrounding them and closing in. You feel the fear and desperation. So excellently done.
