good reaction, thanks for avoiding looking at the phone XD, it's just that important details that create the atmosphere can get lost, especially because the show is in another language

2024-01-19 19:16:24 +0000 UTCEnjoy the ride! I think the back half of the second season is the peak of the show. I’d avoid comments as much as you can, especially ones with phrases like “take note of” “did you notice” “look out for” etc. Anime fans and AoT fans specifically have absolutely no chill, and are determined to make sure you know what’s coming next (I’m not even a huge “anti-spoiler” guy, it’s just tiresome. Anime fans let someone watch the show challenge). Also, yes, from now on there’s much more incorporation of CG (“3D”) into the animation on things like titans, horses, anything that moves along a Z axis rapidly (i.e. a flag whipping in the wind), large buildings. It sometimes looks…kind of bad, to be honest. The colossal titan looked a lot cleaner in his early appearances, though part of that I’m sure is just the awkwardness of showing his full body which is so much bigger than all the other objects around, and not just his head peaking over the wall. I know people have complained about the pace at which you watch the show, but I honestly don’t mind it. I actually watched the first episode for the first time when you posted your first video, then watched roughly a season a day or so, and was done within a week. The binge model has absolutely destroyed the way we interact with and absorb art and media, and my assessment of individual aspects of the show suffered for my inability of letting it breathe. I think some of the (in my unpopular opinion, overstated) praise this story gets stems from rapid viewing, which stifles an ability to look at it critically, and enjoy it for everything it succeeds at while also acknowledging its many shortcomings. In short, go at your own pace; as long you keep a somewhat reasonable timeframe I think any opinions you form about the show that stem from giving it room to breathe between episodes firmly say something about the show and not the person watching it, despite what some may say to the contrary. Sorry for the long comment. It WILL happen again.

2024-01-18 22:51:22 +0000 UTCAs dontrell said, during the previous episode, when the tower was about to collapse, you can see Berthold in the back ready to bite his hand to transform and save his life !

2024-01-18 17:55:27 +0000 UTCI think you understand now why many of us insisted that you must pay attention during this episode ! :] It's considered one of the best moments in anime history ! so we didn't want you to miss it ! ^_^ Also when you just focus a little, you come with really smart theories ! Thank you for the great reaction, hoping not to wait so much for the next !

2024-01-18 17:53:30 +0000 UTCin season 1 Eren got eaten on episode 5. This season episode 5 Ymir becomes a titan. So it looks like they do something surprising around this time. Everyone so tense up on that wall. You could almost feel the cold wind blowing!

2024-01-18 17:42:04 +0000 UTCI'm not liking the video. So come fight me MOLLY!!! Also, go back to the previous episode and watch the scene where Ymir goes to the top of the tower to save all of them for a nice Easter Egg of Reiner and Bertholt.

2024-01-18 16:31:29 +0000 UTCI've not wanted to say anything as to hype up this episode and take away from the reveal, but in my opinion this is where the show puts its foot down on the accelerator and it doesn't slow down from here. Enjoy the ride!
