The commercialization of meta humans or super heroes that are conscious of branding and such. And like your standard shonen anime, we got to see some characters leveling up. Though it wasn't shown, I guess Marie being able to take signifcant damage is another newfound ability. After Emma's fight with Sam, I, at first, wondered if strong positive/negative emotions controlled or contributed to her growth, but I think it's just calorie intake/expense. Apparently, her crying is what caused her to shrink. Cate and Sam are down with the super hero supremacy agenda that Homelander kind of kicked off, so the script was flipped and they were elevated as heroes in the media. Because he said so. Who's going to tell him otherwise? Well, Victoria Neuman is now in possession of something that can take him down. That season was a wild ride. Thanks for the reactions, ladies. <3
