Here is fist pdf article with steps and explanations on how to approach to painting colorful NMM. Hope you like it and if you haven't watched it yet, there is video on Painting Dragon scales - done on this Dragon you can see on picture above.
It would be nice to watch it next to reading this article. :)*

Craftworld Studio

Definitely a good read. One of these days I might even have the guts to give it a try haha

Nils Holmbergh

Ahh, yeah i should have mentioned i was speaking about colour! Thanks heaps guys!

Jack Archer

Hehe, not really. If you ask for color use, mixes of all the colours from palette used on this project in general. Certainly. But technique and light/shadows/reflections placement wise - not so much. Sword is flat surface but armour is not. There is overall volume of armour pieces and there are details. All of it have contrast, reflections and certain light placement and application. :)

Craftworld Studio

I'm assuming it's basically the same for the armour?

Jack Archer

It's our pleasure. :)

Craftworld Studio

Thanks you ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘
