[Free][Feat] Coral Diver

First look into one of the feats coming up in the Daragaard Core Part 1 release at the end of May! The Coral Diver, Sinkala Region has a large and vibrant coastline, with almost every major settlement within the region being either based on the coast, a river, or another freshwater source. Swimming, diving and aquatic antics are second nature to a Sinkalan, but only a few of the natives would become confident enough to Coral Dive with no apparatus or magical enhancement.

In the vibrant coastal regions of Sinkala, the water is as much a part of life as the land. Natives of Southern Sinkala, and espeically in the city are taught to swim almost as soon as they can walk, their childhoods filled with the gentle lapping of waves against the expansive stilts and docks that keep much of their city afloat. Over time, these wooden structures have stretched further into the sea, turning swimming from a necessity to second nature for the people here.

For the youth of Sinkala, the sprawling coral reefs just a dive away from their homes offer not only beauty but adventure. Diving into these underwater marvels has become a popular pastime, teeming with the thrill of discovery and the promise of valuable finds among the coral. It’s a pursuit that demands skill and courage, for the reefs are as dangerous as they are beautiful. Many daring souls have ventured into their depths, and while most return with stories of wonder, some have succumbed to the sea's more perilous whims.

Those who master the art of navigating these underwater mazes are known as Coral Divers. Skilled in holding their breath and moving silently through the water, they become almost indistinguishable from the creatures that inhabit the reefs. Coral Divers learn to read the subtle cues of the currents and use their enhanced perception to avoid dangers and spot hidden treasures. Though many adult divers take apparatus and magical enhancements to keep themselves safe, almost all that make it that far were once a reckless youth, learning the perils of the ocean one dive at a time.
