Patron New Year Survey results!
Added 2019-02-07 21:19:49 +0000 UTCA few weeks ago, I posted a survey for you all to help me get a good sense of the community here! 40 of you responded, and here is what I learned!
`1) Avid viewers: 62.5% of those who responded watch every upload. Another 32.5% only skip a few.
2) Super broad interests: 37.5% are here for the Early Christianity / Ancient religion stuff. 25% are here for the Comparative religion stuff. 32.5% are here for all of the above! This is instructive for me, because I feel like I have been slacking on the ancient religion content. Lots of topics from my trip to Jerusalem, yes, but I'd like to double-down on my Varieties of Early Christianity series...this gives me the excuse to do so!
3) Y'all super want a podcast: A solid 66.7% said that they'd rather see a podcast over online classes or livestreams. I've been toying with all three of these ideas, even going so far as to buy two podcasting mics for an interview-style RFB podcast. But I haven't launched the podcast yet because A) I don't know the genre well enough and am trying to learn, and B) I want to be 100% sure that I will be producing good content. As in, I don't want to waste people's time with boring interviews about religion. But! This is more incentive for me to finally launch it.
