Animism: The First Religion?

1) New video!: Yesterday I published "Animism: The First Religion?" In this video I discuss the various ways that animism has been understood throughout the last 100 years of scholarship and offer an alternative way to describe what animism is.
2) Perks: If you've been in contact with me and still haven't received a perk (e.g. a mug or a book), I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten you! I'm in the midst of a huge move back to Washington D.C. from Jerusalem, so it has been very difficult managing shipping the perks remotely from abroad.
