I have exciting news that I wanted to share with you all first! Every quarter, YouTube tycoons John and Hank Green (famous for CrashCourse, SciShow, and Vlogbrothers) award up-and-coming YouTube channels with small grants to help grow their audiences. I applied for this sponsorship months ago and had all but given up hope, but Complexly (the Green brother's YouTube company), contacted me today to say that RFB has been selected as one of the finalists!

John Green in particular has been one of my biggest inspirations in starting Religion for Breakfast, so I am incredibly excited about this. His channel CrashCourse exemplifies the "gold standard" of edu-vlogs, and I strive every day to live up to that standard. I can't decide if I am embarrassed or excited that he has watched at least one of my videos...

Anyway...thank you all for supporting the show. Between your help and this grant, I can try to boost RFB to the next level. I wanted to send a special thanks to our new patrons too. At least 3 or 4 of you have joined the fold in the last few weeks, and I am so happy to have you aboard.
