Her future design is amazing. Her tear stains and half-eaten tail are great visual storytelling. Also, seeing how that little lad really loved Cath, could they be the girl blinded from the rift (I think she died prior do this? My memory is the worst)? I remember you said the Blind cat and Cath had the "they were really good friends" type relationship.
