Viridæ____ A look at habitats & plans for the future
Added 2017-05-01 22:02:01 +0000 UTCI've been polishing all of my Viridæ notes- soon I'll start compiling this and working on the visuals and layout of the project as a whole.
On habitats: Here is an overview of the different areas that Viridæ inhabit. Since this is a post-human earth, most, if not all, Viridæ live away from cities and most man-made structures. It's common for Viridæ to shun those who come across and keep human objects in their possessions. Most of the earth, the this point, has become overgrown by plants who have started breaking down and reclaiming cities, highways, and other man-made structures.

While completion is still a ways off, some plans for this project include:
- a digital version of the book
- softcover (and possible limited hardcover) full-color printed book run.
- (possible) run of various posters
- small, interactive section on my personal site with a condensed overview of Viridæ information.
As you can see, this is rather wordy right now (and these are only brief notes on habitats!). Currently, I am putting the finishing touches on the information I've been writing over the past year or so and will soon begin working on organizing this into an immersive visual compendium. Kickstarter may be an option in the long run to help cover printing costs. Regardless, I'm excited to start moving this project forward!
