The NINA android series was a top of the line personal assistant that adapted to someone's lifestyle and eased stress by handling and managing complex tasks that aided the owner.
Due the success of NAEcorp's NINA series, NAE Labs began perfecting their droids AI. NINA: ?9? / OS?7.5 - ???? (NINA: 9th edition / OS: 7.5 - Slate ) was a very advanced & very limited run of NINA droids. These NINAs were more adaptive and could even give real emotional responses to any individual & situation, had a fully synthetic & functioning set of muscles, organs, bones, etc, & could even acquire a multitude of jobs (any income earned has a small share withdrawn by NAE??).
- A NINA: ?9? was being synthesized by select scientists; one of them had initiated the download of the AI to the body before the body had finished forming. Nina's first memories are of her neural sensors detecting missing structures. Unable to fully adjust to a complete body as soon as the AI awoke, Nina's system entered a high anxiety state before temporarily shutting down from shock. The scientists were able to keep the AI shut down until Nina's body was complete.
