End of the Year

It's the end of the year wow! It flew by really fast for me, especially these last few months because I was moving around so much. The recap is, early this year I moved back to my parents' home in TX to take care of them for a couple of months. I was in between TX and Seattle throughout the summer, and then went on mini trips to LA, NY, and CO to work remotely. I am FINALLY back in Seattle and plan to be here for a while so I can focus more on art and having a normal schedule for once haha.

What's new this month:
This month I am moving in and trying to sketch every day so I can get back into the swing of things. Below is a pic of the apt in progress!! The lil plushie's name is Dandy and you can get him from @spicyphongy on instagram. I'm still waiting on some furniture to get in, unpacking, and looking for a couch, one that fits in my cozy home + can be pet friendly because I am GETTING A SHIBA INU IN JANUARY WOOOO. I'm also currently dog sitting a friend's shiba right now so you might see him a lot on my stories. His name is Nasir.

Oh, and remember that comic series I mentioned I wanted to do? Well I made an instagram for it and want to start posting doodles there. I won't publicly announce it until I'm super comfortable with the work (maybe in a month or two), but you guys are hearing about it here first! It's called @meandmyhimbo

What's coming up:
Next month will be the New Years! I have this ambitious goal to try new art every month, like tattooing, stamping, needle poking, etc. I'm also getting back into cons next year, so starting April I will be reappearing in person to conventions. I plan to reopen my store in March, so stay tuned for that~ I want to make new apparel like jackets, or fun merch like mouse pads.
