8 Week 2 day Squat Cycle

Hey guys here is an 8 week Cycle I will be doing in conjunction with my regular program. If you start on Monday you can do it along with me! 

I will do day 1 on mondays and day 2 on thursday. For this cycle I will do back squats for both days.

Actual intensity = % of your 1rm

Relative intensity = % of your projected rep max (don't worry about this number)

Awesome program coach! I'm currently at week 7 and my 90% BS moves better than when I started!

I've used this cycle several times now and adapted it for several basic lifts: front squats, squats, bench press, and deadlifts. Every time, I've hit a 1RM at the end of the 8 week cycle. I am sure it will lose its efficacy at some point, but I've had superb results with it thus far. My "training age" (and actual age) is pretty high. So hitting 1RMs does not happen routinely. So hitting multiple 1RMs within 10 months was an unexpected treat. Thanks, ZT!
