April Update: GUCCI, Sakura Con, Store Stuff

Hi Patreon, it's been a hot minute since I did one of these newsletters. I want to start by saying thank you to every one of you that is here, it means SO MUCH to me. This last month has been kind of crazy for me and I need a break so I will be pausing next month's updates. You won't be charged next month!

Last and this month:

My GUCCI collab dropped! It surprised everyone hahah it surprised me too. I had been working on it for a year plus now, so it was very exciting to be able to talk about it now that it's live. Everyone asked me how???? Honestly, they just reached out to me. I thought it was spam at first LOL

In the midst of planning for Sakura Con, I was also working on my store. I discontinued my pikachu and eevee crane machines because it is time for Pikarar to go full original artwork only!! Except for the occasional times I draw fan art here on Patreon for you guys :,) I got over a thousand hoodies to print and fold and pack.. I am STILL working through them after a month aaaaahh. I even had to order triple the amount for my other merch because of Sakura Con, and two other events I'm going to soon. Finally going to work with a fulfillment center in the next store update so 1/ orders will go out much faster for everyone and 2/ I won't be spending weeks and weeks packing orders anymore. I want to use that time to draw instead. I will still work with the fulfillment center to make it custom and personal though <3

Then Sakura Con happened~ the weekend passed so quickly. It was my first time having helpers and I am very grateful to the team of five. Hopefully I can continue to hire people and send them out to more events so that I can do more resting instead of stressing lol!! TBH planning for these events and store openings always stress me out. It is so much to think about on top of juggling my full time job, the house, the fur babies, my social life, etc etc. The blankets were a hit btw! I sold out on all the purple ones and only have a few blue and green ones left.

Coming up...

I said I would reopen my store to sell the blankets but instead I actually have two more local events coming up in May, so the blankets will be there instead. I aim to have a big store update in July. It will include blankets, rugs, and hopefully my bags will be done! Thanks for reading if you got this far.
