May Update (June Paused)

Like May, June is also paused because this month was a bit much for me. I'll aim to have stuff out for July but we shall see 👀 I have been better about work life balance rather than just trying to do EVERYTHING EVERYTHING. 

Even tho I paused this month, I still wanna share updates with you guys. May was all about catching up with friends! Early in the month we visited a friend in LA and also went to the Palm Tree Music Festival (to see Ellie Goulding). It was Phong's first time exploring LA so I took him to my fav places like Lil Tokyo, Arts District, Pasadena, and San Gabriel.

We flew back to Seattle to attend the U-District Street Fair; it was my first time tabling there and I really enjoyed the event! I made almost as much as I did for Sakura Con 🙀 Which was surprising considering Sakura Con is a heavily trafficked event. I def recommend it to other vendors!! 

The following week, we went back to CA, but this time to the bay area for a childhood friend's wedding. I'm one of those people that keep in touch with my friends from preschool LOL my friends are stuck with me for life!!! We also got a tattoo from one of our fav artists (jermie_jerms), can you guess where mine is inspired from lolol A week prior I also got a stamp tattoo from kongjoo_art, a Korean artists that came to Seattle for a pop up. The healing process for both tattoos has been a struggle for me. For someone with sensitive skin, my body is not happy and very itchy 😭😭

Wrap up for this month is we are attending one more wedding in Kansas for Phong's fwens. After that my fam is visiting, and we will be flying to CA again for a family trip. So much traveling!! I miss my bed.

In art news, I'm starting to sell Pikarar stuff wholesale to other small local businesses. Maybe you'll start to see more of my shibas and designs everywhere!! Also working on more things like new jackets, blankets, and possibly planters??? I'm debating if I want to get into plants or office stuff like desk mats. Anyways, let me know in the comments!
