Update, still working on the ending.

The middle loop is rendering away, it takes a long ass time to render, even though Its only 5 minutes a frame.
(That's very quick, All thanks to the computer Dbl Helix sent to me!)
Its about one forth of the way there! Rendering is a slow process. This is way I would like to get my hands on another pc, just to speed up the process a bit.
I also want to look at getting a nicer microphone in the future, for sound reasons.
(Though that might be a bit of a waste, would have to try with my current mic and see what I can do there first.)
I can add sounds in blender, I just need to get a good table squeak sound, as well as some ambient nature stuff. That I should be able to find online, the ravens muffled cry's on the other hand....
With all that, I could give that animation a sound version!
Anyway, adding sound may have to wait, it will probably not be as easy as it looks from here.

A good microphone is obviously helpful, but a good recording environment can go a long way to improve the quality of any recording as well. Whenever I've heard voice actors talk about recording for an abridged series, usually it's in a closet or with a blanket draped around their head and mic. Not sure how they reduce popping though, maybe holding another piece of cloth in front of the mic while recording? Would be very interesting to hear your voice coming out of the birb and/or gryphon if you're not able to find the proper samples, heh. Like you say though, there's probably a learning curve, just like any other thing in life.
