still using long division to make songs

i'm going to go for a walk today to clear my head, i hope all of you are doing well. the past two weeks have been fun, tracking for the middle of BotS and then re-writing many portions of it. i find most of what i write for an album will get edited out, and the process of filtering out what's necessary to the sound/story can take a minute. i do think people would find it funny to hear some of parts & songs that almost made it on past records, but i'd be so embarrassed to share those moments. i think it's very important, whether working on an album or film to just cut as much as you can, even if you don't want to let some things go. essentially, if you want a solid 40 minute record, cut about 80 minutes worth of music and delete half of it using your discretion.

this week i also sent off a comic script to get illustrated! so that's exciting. hope everyone is drinking a lot of water.
