August Update:

I'm going to make this a public post since there's no secrets in here. 

This summer is very busy for us. Justin decided to apply to all available conventions we could, then we got invited to some film festivals. So in July, we did Montreal Comic Con. August, we just finished Otakuthon, we just returned from Buffer Fest in Toronto. Later, we are going to the Ottawa International Animation Fest.

Like with everyone else, it's been years since I've done any kind of events. I haven't been to the Montreal Comic Con in almost a decade. I guess it's a weird fact now the audience for comic culture has become fairly mainstream and it's no longer a niche, nerd thing, so the audience for people is very general. I had a better time at Otakuthon, where the people felt more like my crowd.

We won an award at the Buffer Festival for excellence in animation! That's pretty cool. We met a lot of cool people there and overall, I was impressed with the quality of the videos/films and the organization of the festival. I'm really happy to see Justin rewarded for the hard work and innovation he's done. I'm going to own the small amount of animation I do and my biggest contribution is really ideas and refining the scripts, aside from business management.

I don't have much time to paint, however I did finish this image I've been making for my fiancé for months, 15-30 minutes at a time. I like to give art gifts to my partners. In between the traveling, I'll be doing my best to stay creating & I'll have another project update post later on.

Not sure if this is a weird one to make prints out of, but what the H, I'll do anyway. If you don't know us personally, then it's a bunch'o cyborgs with a shiny apple. I bought new brushes for my software to emulate textures I want to recreate. I think the branches really resemble what looks like dry pastels.

The symbols in this piece comes from a mediation I did a while back. I think what I was being shown is a golden apple representing everything good I've attracted and created in life...so this one is about the good things we made together so far.
