Medium: Watercolor only, edges painted over with white acrylic.

This is a fairly significant painting for me. It marks moving to the big city & staying here. It's one of the first cityscapes I painted in watercolor. I was very meticulous about getting the buidlings accurate & straight. Some people love this painting the way I do, and others react with "It looks like the city is on fire." It's a really cool effect how the sun casts this deep orange, almost red over the entire city. It can be seen at sunset from Mont Royal lookout. This painting hung on wall for many years.
