Status report #15

Hello everyone.

It wasn't a very long week, but I believe we made progress.

Working full time and developing games in our spare time is not an easy task, but we kept going.

We were starting to pass some things we wrote to the game's code, and we realized that there was a serious flaw in the organization of character information and in the gui, and it would prevent us from reaching our goal as the secondary missions of the MC, dissatisfied with how the gui was organized for this second version and seeking to bring a better experience, I opted to redesign the game's gui, this will enable us to do some things.

There was always a concern during the renderings of trying to leave the scenes as visible as possible even during the conversation of the characters, but of course leaving the text easy to read and this new gui will allow us to better use the space and transparency of the items, in addition, it is full of new visual elements that provide a new experience to the player and bring a unique look to the game.

The menu, inventory, and character information has been completely redesigned, enriching the game more with information so you can get to know the characters better and follow the routes more easily.

There are still some points that need to be adjusted, like the saves and load screen and the MC's phone, which will go through a refactoring since it also presents some flaws.

While I work on the programming and the gui, my wife is working on enriching some environments that will be presented in this new version by preparing the scenarios for rendering the scenes with the characters.

We are also progressing with the English revision of the previous version, we believe we will be able to re-release the current version of the game completely revised, by the end of this month or maybe early next month.
