Highlander (1986) YouTube Edited Reaction | EARLY ACCESS | SPACE*OCEAN*tiers:

https://youtu.be/JFYHllMLrRk

IMPORTANT INFO BELOW! :) Guys, here is the updated YouTube edited reaction for Highlander. More enjoyable to watch, imo, since it looks better!

It ended up being a lot better than the first one, IMO, because I decided to edit the "coming up" section (I wasn't happy with the first edit/ it had one too many scenes) AND I WAS ABLE TO RAISE THE AUDIO for the low clips/TOOK OUT THE SUBTITLES FOR THOSE CLIPS (except one clip when he's lighting the candle, I left subtitles, since I was talking to Boo ). I also minimized the text that shows the title of Queen song "Who Wants To Live Forever".

I edited a few other errors I noticed as well, and this version just looks way better overall/ way more cleaned up/how I like it, than the first one posted earlier!

I know some of you have already watched and liked the other YouTube post; THANK YOU SO MUCH, guys! If you could PLEASE LIKE THIS ONE AS WELL, when you get the time, THAT WOULD HELP OUT A LOT!

Thank you all!

*Messages/comments note: I am going to be reading and responding to all your most recent Patreon post comments and messages tomorrow (as well as YouTube comments, afterward)! I apologize I haven't in the past 5 days! Since I genuinely love reading and responding to all of them, I like to do so when I have the time I know I will need to do it properly! After tomorrow, I will be caught up with them, though, and will be able to get on and see the notifications not only daily, but more than once a day. All part of the new schedule! Thanks for being so awesome, and talk to you soon! Looking forward to reading all of your recent comments! :)

hahaha. That Keanu reference is a perfect way to look at it! I've loved Lambert for so long, but had never even heard of this. I'm happy I have, now! Oh, I can re-watch a movie very often. Though, I don't really have the time like I used to. I've only re-watched this one fully once and then while editing and then the parts from the director's cut I missed. Although, I'll still put ones on in the BG, while doing laundry or other housework/playing with Boo (and btw, THANK YOU...yes, he's the best lol). So, not technically re-watching fully, but in a way. Though, there are other movies I have literally seen hundreds of times....many movies. I've loved to re-watch them since as long as I can remember. I would rewind many VHS tapes and put it on immediately again, really young. I was also outside constantly..SO much more time when a kid! Yes, I agree; I'd LOVE to see more on set location shoot like this, nowadays. So, so beautiful. You can't beat it. (I went to hit enter to separate paragraphs but it submitted the comment, so sorry this is all bunched together). Also...NOOO...don't make me think about that scene with him losing her again. No, I'm Kidding. Though, it pulls at my heart, I wouldn't have it any other way, with it's beauty. I'm IN LOVE with that entire scene, from the start of "Who Wants To Live Forever", to when he buries her. Though, I chose the "stag" scene as my favorite out of any of the scenes, because her dying still hurt really bad. Thanks for the comment, Adam! And yes...his laugh is perfect. I'm not surprised someone created a compilation. haha

Before we get started, does anybody want to watch this video compilation of Christopher Lambert laughing? https://youtu.be/1FswhQmILLU Hi, Angel! I finally watched this. “Here we are born to be kings / We're the princes of the universe” My first exposure to Highlander was actually the TV show ... The swords were super dangerous. They ran a power cable up their clothes and down their sleeves connected to a car battery so when the swords made any electrical contact they shot crazy sparks everywhere In the list of movies I’m slowly suggesting, Snake Eyes was totally there. That movie’s great. Especially the opening. It’s like a 15 minute one take I think the first time I ever saw Clancy Brown was in Pet Sematary II. He’s always wonderful. Don’t forget he was Burg in The Mandalorian! https://oyster.ignimgs.com/wordpress/stg.ign.com/2019/12/Burg.jpg I love that both Clancy and Lambert both played incarnations of Rayden OK so, you love Christopher Lambert’s voice and you love Jean-Claude Van Damme … I think maybe you just like a french accent on muscled brunette men, haha I love all your reactions to the nature shots. It’s like, yeah … they used to actually go to locations and shoot, remember that stuff? Was pretty good, huh? We should do that again, maybe? I know it adds a lot of cost to photography, but come on … we don’t even have the texture of matte paintings anymore! Everything is just so … smooth and efficient. The problem being, if you actually went somewhere to shoot, you’re going to get your money’s worth and film all kinds of things there from all sorts of positions and placements. That’s not happening with digital environment work, since every piece you add costs more. It’s a really depressing change in that business model Outliving everyone you’ve ever loved is just about the most heart wrenching thing I could ever imagine, honestly The powers in Highlander are super similar to The One, it’s just in a single universe rather than many … I know I mentioned it before, but a lot of movies have rules similar to The One. No, I don’t think you should watch it Boo is so adorable and he looks so healthy! How many times do you re-watch these? I can’t do that, it has to be years for me, I’ll get sick of literally any movie if I see it too often. I find the repetition irritating, and my brain will just memorize every detail. It’s incredibly frustrating That thing where people watch something for comfort, I basically can’t do that outside of a couple movies and it’s very specific. I wish I could, though, it seems nice Thank you for watching this. I still can’t believe you never saw this before, it's like someone saying they love Keanu Reeves in Speed, you ask them about The Matrix and they say, "What's that?" Until next time!
