Fully agree with Death Proof being much better in context of the full Grindhouse movie. Since it looks like it's going to win, we should push Angel to watch the whole thing.

I think Grindhouse as a whole is superior to Death Proof on its own (even if Death Proof is the better of the two included movies.) As one picture, Grindhouse is just a whole experience. The project didn't do well in theaters so the distributor put in the "missing reels" and released the two movies individually, it definitely loses something in this form. Not having the fake movie trailers is a huge loss! Speed Racer deserves better lol It's actually good! I just don't like that they color graded the entire movie yellow. Everyone has yellow teeth as a result
