BTW my kid has a name you might know and I told Kurt Russell when I met him once. My kid's name - Jack Burton Coleman! (After Kurt's character in Big Trouble In Little China!)

Also another known tidbit - this was the only movie where all three of the all-time make-up effects greats worked on the same film. Stan Winston, Dick Smith, and Rick Baker all worked on the transformation sequence. It was trimmed down, but they all worked on it.

Another reaction that moved me. Thanks. Movies that touched my heart - Ghost Town, Defending Your Life, Running on Empty, Amiele.

Combine Charles Martin Smith from this one and Sean Connery from Highlander and you get....The Untouchables! (Amazing DePalma flick with Kevin Costner, Robert De Niro and Andy Garcia and written by David Mamet no less!)

Welcome back!

Nice. I'm adding it as one to watch soon. Always appreciate your suggestions!

Well, said. She's incredible.

Time After Time (1979) is an interesting movie I'd be curious to see if you like. Not a big budget but it has a stellar main cast that elevate a fairly mid level script. I find it an interesting reflection of the late 70s. Wow, how I forget Somewhere in Time (1980)? Something tells me that might be a favorite for you.

Karen Allen can convince you she's in love with anyone with just a look. More so than anything she is what makes this movie work.
