Happy Holidays! [updates & other things]

I hope you all have been having a good holiday season! What a year it's been, right? But we did it, we survived! I mean I hope we all did. I'll have to assume that since you're reading this, you're still alive. I have a great, perhaps unfounded optimism for a better 2021.

BEFORE ALL THAT THOUGH!

I'm afraid I'll be pausing January's billing cycle. The thing is, I'm a bit backed up on all work and I made the "mistake" of taking a long break this month to decompress some difficult energies. I'm also pretty tired of feeling an end of the month crunch time and would like to create a reasonable schedule and maybe some sort of buffer so I don't have to worry about falling too far behind. That means you won't be charged for January, but there also won't be any mail rewards going out. I want to prep some cooler rewards for the new year anyway!! This will give me more time for that.

I also plan to get to all the commissions I said "yes" too. Nobody's been charged yet, I thought I had plenty of time, but things got really crammed up for me, then I got really exhausted and left everyone hangin. That's my bad. On that note, I should mention IF YOU ARE IN THE COMPLETE BREAKFAST TIER FOR COMMISSIONS ONLY PLEASE UNSUB. I don't think I should be taking any unplanned commissions until I get a better grip on my time management. The burnout cycle catches me off guard WAY too frequently, and when a Patron asks, I feel obligated to say yes and that puts me in a poor position if I'm already behind on work or rest. I'll still offer commissions now and again, but most likely on FA, and on a whim when I am absolutely sure I have time. Of course, the small handful of Forbidden Socks tiers will not have to worry about that, since I specifically limited the slot count to something I could handle.

One more note. I'm not making this as a sort of 'OH NO I SCREWED UP AND I'M DESPERATE' sort of thing. It's more so- I made some decisions on what I want to do, and there's a lot I need to plan and a lot I need to chop in order to do everything I want to do. I want to keep making cool pics, I want to keep making merch(socks especially, I LOVE socks) and I really want to make some ACTUAL animations(like more than just blinking and squigglevision). I also still want to work on Socks game. There's so much!!! But before I can do ALL OF THAT, I need to get all the things I owe done. That includes the rest of December's Patreon pics of course!
