Surgery

I have surgery scheduled tomorrow. I'm not going to go into detail about that except that it's an abdominal surgery and I am not in any life-threatening condition.
I've been waiting to tell you all this because I had to get a pre-op COVID-19 test done and if I tested positive the whole thing would have had to be rescheduled. But it looks like I'm not getting my result until tomorrow anyway, which means I'll have to be tested at the hospital. I doubt I have the virus because I've been a hermit, and if I do it's pretty much guaranteed I got it from my husband who has been isolating himself from me as much as possible.
The recovery period for this procedure is usually about two weeks, but people often go back to work after a week or so. They'll have to cut through my abdominal muscles so I expect to be unable to continue work on my art for at least five days. I've gotten a lot of work done on part 5 of A Dog's Mother so I won't have to play catch up too much.
I should be fine soon enough and I'll continue work on my art when I am able. People have requested I continue the foreign exchange series and draw the other four students as well. This is the plan. The other student pairs are Gallus ⇆ Sandbar and Ocellus ⇆ Silverstream. I don't have much else to report except that I do read your comments and appreciate them, even if I don't always respond.
