Hi everyone, With the 75-patron mark closing in, its time to talk about the upcoming Wyvern miniature. The Wyvern is a large creature in 5th edition dnd so the obvious restriction is that it will have to fit on a 50mm base. This is not going to affects its wings though.
Along with the Wyvern will also come a One-Page adventure to be used either as an one-shot or as a filler in an ongoing campaign. The adventure, currently titled "Wyvern Hunters" will place the players in a, perilous yet highly profitable, journey to steal the eggs from a wyvern nest. Unless the parents have something to say about this heist, the eggs can either be sold for a high profit or even used to hatch a prize mount.
The wyvern miniature will be soon added to the welcome package for Adventurer and Trader tiers. The adventure will be added a couple of weeks later for all tiers.
Now lets talk about loyalty rewards. I am leaning towards a seasonal loyalty reward starting with spring (March, April and May). Patrons that have stuck around for an entire season on any tier will receive their seasonal reward at the end of the season. This reward will take the form of one or more miniatures of substantial size and complexity. As I've already laid out in a previous post, the current three candidates for the first loyalty reward are an adult steel dragon, a gnomish spelljamming ship and a mulhorandi war galley. I am leaning towards the dragon as it is the easier model to print on smaller printers and therefore the safest choice.
I have still not figured out a seamless way to implement this program and it seems that everything will have to be done manually at first. If any of you has any input on the matter of loyalty programs and how those can be implemented please let me know! I value your feedback very highly as many of you are more experienced with patreon than I am.
