Elder minotaurs become conduits for the Horned King allowing them to bestow their brethren with demonic vigor and prowess. This gift carries with it a curse as well. Minotaurs that gain this boon gradually become addicted to their inner rage and become too bestial even for the minotaur tribe to handle. Those who can't contain their rage are eventually sacrificed to the Prince of Beasts in a ritual that is too gruesome and painful to describe. The screams of anguish of the sacrificial minotaur can be heard from miles away to the cities of men in Chessenta.
