A random freebie
Added 2021-10-15 21:39:17 +0000 UTCRight, so it turns out that our local Warhammer 40k community has decided to crank it up a notch and launch a crusade, narrative style campaign. I had been working on a bunch of truescale firstborn marines for a while. The idea was to bring those models up on par with the modern primaris models in both size and scale (Imperial Guard alternative model for size comparison) This is something I had been doing as a side personal project with no intention to ever monetize. So with the crusade campaign coming up, I was immediately motivated to include an Imperial Fists tactical squad in my Imperial Guard force and that gave me the drive required to finish up some new models.
Now, on to the meat of the post - I am only sharing thess models with friends and - I cant stress this enough - with absolutely no intention to monetise them(GW spies, shoo!).
Anyway, thats about it. I am going to be making the full tactical squad (just finishing the multi melta chad astartes now) and I am going to be sharing the entire thing with all you nice people!

November 1st update
So it turns out you dont get stratagems in an auxiliary detachment so I need an HQ unit as well to have at least a rudimentary Imperial Fist fighting force alongside my guard. Added a firstborn lieutenant with modular weapons. Only the bolter, chainsword and thunderhammer are available at this point but I will eventually add all the options.
January 18th update
Not really an update but a bump. Since yesterday quite a few people have joined the patreon for the warhamme 40kish content. Since you might have missed this random freebie, here it is in your feed ;)

2023-04-02 17:47:53 +0000 UTCI made these models because I wanted firstborn marines that didnt look like children. Being space marines and all, I would not dare monetise those in any manner. On the other hand, it felt like a waste not sharing them with the people that support me. I can neither endorse nor forbid their use in any manner you see fit.

2022-01-18 11:26:31 +0000 UTChm, thats a good question. Those are about 40mm tall so I'd say something like 80% would probably do the trick. If you do scale them down, leave the heads as they are because they are already at the same size as the current firstborn line.

And I'm especially excited because this means I can print out like 5 of the space marine and use them all to practice my painting on, since I'm clueless and havent been willing to touch my expensive ones yet. ;) Hope to see more of these, kudos!

2021-10-21 06:07:28 +0000 UTCUploading the multi melta dude now. I started those a while back when I tried to go the multi part kit path but it was very quickly obvious that the clunkiness of the astartes power armor would seriously restrict interesting poses. So I switched to monoposes instead.
