February release preview
Added 2022-02-03 13:33:49 +0000 UTC- During this month we are going to be doing an investigation on the Inevitables, the robotic custodians of the order of the multiverse.
These creatures haven't yet transitioned to 5th edition with the exception of an altered version of the Marut which can be found in Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes. This release is going to stick to the versions found in the 3rd edition Monster Manual and Fiend Folio. I am going to be providing statblocks alongside the stl's.
So what are the inevitables? - Zelekhut- A winged centaur like automaton that is responsible for chasing down and apprehending fugitives. It looks majestic and peaceful until it shows its retractable spiked chains shooting out of its forearms.
- Kolyarut- A charismatic android automaton that acts as a judge and planar attorney. They are expert at writing and analysing contracts but are not too shaby at combat too. Their blades are mostly a symbol of authority as they rely on their life stealing spell-like abilities to defeat law breakers.
- Marut- These black stone golems clad in bronze plate armor are the custodians of death. Quite simply, if you cheat death, the Marut are going to make sure you dont. By pummeling you to death.
- Quarut- The guardians of the fabric of time, fate and continuity of the multiverse. They are time-cop plus robocop but with magic.
- Varakhut- These sinister looking floating inverted pyramids with killy hand thingies are the gatekeepers of godhood. Since their purpose is to hunt down and kill would-be gods, their power is supreme. Very few beings can stand against a hunting group of Varakhut in the entire multiverse.
