They'd make them in any wild colors you wanted, with or without a lanyard string, and a few other options. They had the customer lie down on their side with their head on a rest and then put a thick goop in the customer's ear(s). Took a few minutes to harden enough to remove. I hate the sensation of earplugs so I never got anything like them. I'm wondering if something like that would work for cosplay purposes tho - having antennas come out of your ears, etc?
