September preview - Age of Sail

This month in Across the Realms we are exploring the age of sail and pioneers of the new world. This is an age that few games are being played on and that is truly a shame. The era combines a very diverse selection of technologies and weapons, and the exploration of a new world is the perfect setting for adventurers to thrive in.

The miniatures that will be made available by the end of the month are the following.

Colonial Soldiers - 3 x models. These guys can be used for all sorts of purposes, from marines, to revolutionary soldiers to regular rank and file napoleonic infantry.
Colonists - 3 x models. Two female and one male colonists will provide you with a decent set of miniatures to populate your towns with.
Chickens - 2 x models. Pretty self-explanatory. They're just chickens.
Fur Trappers - 3 x models. These hardy haired folks operate in the frontiers, hunting wild animals for their very valuable fur, meat and bones. They are armed with an array of weapons as well as steel traps.
Grizzly bears - 2 x models. Something to put the fear of god to those pesky Fur Trappers. If you see it, it's too late.
Sailors - 2 x models. Crew for all your sailing ship needs. One of them comes with a mop because that deck won't scrub itself.
Brig - A two masted sailing ship with removable decks that makes its interiors playable. This is a very large miniature that is going to be a challenge to print. FDM printers will take around two weeks of print time. It has been optimised for small resin printers but make sure you know what you're going up against if you decide to print this. It will be worth it in the end though!
