Because even though it was a really good episodes it could have been a Top 5 moment in all of anime. Seriously. They didnt even animate half the fight with Mirio vs Chisaki. The rushed it by doing 4 chapters an episode which is twice as fast as they normally do it. Like I said it was good but itvwould have besn better if they showed Mirio using prediction and fighting Overhaul and saving Eri for 5 minutes before Deku showed up.

I loved this episode. I liked the animation. People are "let down" because their minds are in the wrong place. This episode was one of my favorite episodes. I wasn't disappointed at all. I read the manga and don't recall given that many shits about this fight in the manga. It was like "cool, it's Mirio. He protects Eri and loses his quirk. That sucks". In the show it's like "OMFG! It's Mirio! He's actually protecting Eri! OH NO HE LOST HIS QUIRK! MY HEART IS BREAKING". So what the hell are the rest of you going on about? lol Also, I'm a little disappointed. The Normies called Magna a guy earlier on and I was waiting to see their reaction to the show specifically calling Magna a she. And they SKIPPED IT. Dammit, Hunter! >:U lol

You see the reaction it gave the Normies? That's what it gave most reactors and myself. It was a great episode. I didn't notice any bad animation. All looked pretty normal MHA to me and looked good. I keep being baffled by this comment from people. Did you not see Mirio kick through Eri's head??? It was even cooler cuz you could see Eri, in slow motion, look to the side when she realizes his foot just went through her like wtf? lol Is everyone just talking about the "slide show" thing? Because that plus the music I thought was an amazing artistic choice to represent that black image in the manga. I DO think it'd be nice if there was a subtitle that mentioned he fought quirkless for a whole third of the battle. Only because that fan edit makes it feel more dramatic. But otherwise, I think the slide show highlights the emotional parts of the fight perfectly better than a fully animated fight would in that segment. It wouldn't really stand out if fully animated to me. It'd just be more fight and it'd be repetitive. Seeing him just constantly jump in front of Eri. They'd end up having to slow down and cut to those emphasized moments anyways.

A lot of manga of manga readers say a lot of things :) this whole season is the manga SHOT FOR SHOT. Trust me, I went back and read it again. This scene would have been great to see animated, but it wasn't on Bones. They animated how many fights so far? It's a letdown, but it's ok. The budget was used wisely imo ;) #sorry4therant

Im a big fan of the manga, and when this arc just came out in there, i felt like it was the best thing i ever read. The chapters are shorter so they were trying to save eri for so long that i was super invested in the story. So ive gotta admit, the animation for the season let me down hard. Im really disappointed on how it ended up being. I mean, it is still good an all, but the source material was so god-like that i expected so much more
