He gets a moment in episode 12, gets a bit fleshed out in episode 13, but gets the heavy deep dive into his character in episode 17. (Nahid confirmed on stream that they have seen up to episode 19 so this isn’t a spoiler). In their recent Q&A they all mentioned that they loved Zenitsu, except for Pat.

Side note, after episode 12, most people are generally on board with Zenitsu, but their reaction in that episode says otherwise. I think this anime is "too anime" for them, the characters are too eccentric for their liking it seems. I know Suraj and Nahid like the show a lot (from what Nahid says on his stream), but I can't help but feel like it's pandering to the fans.
