This season was one of my favorites but one thing I hate is that everybody gives Octavia way too much hate for what happened this season. People don’t understand what she’s going through and I don’t think the writers did a great job justifying her character because most of her actions were justified. Next season I really hope the normies can sympathize and understand the PTSD and depression she is going through. Overall, season 5 was one of my favorite seasons!! Can’t wait for season 6!!!!!!!

Every time I watch the last 15 minutes of this episode I ugly cry. It is by far one of the best moments of the entire show and season 6 gets crazy intense and just crazy in general. I know you guys will enjoy it, here waiting for season 7 in May.!!! 🖤🖤

Great reactions guys! These final 15 minutes are one of the best from the entire show. I know that a lot of people are saying that this was supposed to be the final season but it is not entirely true. Yes, they weren't 100% sure if they will be renewed, so they wrote final episode as it could serve as the series finale at some level but showrunner had already plans for next season, and he hoped that they will be renewed and since The 100 is CW´s darling, it was a big possibility. Enjoy season 6, for me, it is better than season 5 but don't get too overhyped. It may be different than you expect, don't forget that The 100 has still CW budget and sometimes when you expect too much, you could be disappointed.

It was not supposed to be the final season, Jason simply wrote that as a finale in case it ended up being the final season. Thankfully it got picked for season 6. Then during season 6 it was renewed for one final season.

Yeah as much as I love listening to commentary and podcasts as the show is airing, it never ceases to frustrate me that people criticize the show for something that isn't even finished being told yet. It's one of the reasons I feel like Season 5 was so disliked among a lot of the fans, they didn't make the connection that despite the time jump, no issues were going to just disappear. it's really more accurate to look at season 5 as a second half to season 4. If this was a traditional 22 episode season, then i think you could reasonably combine the seasons and a lot of those issues would go away.

I feel this finale speaks for itself so there's really not much to analyze. So this week's post is gonna be a little shorter. Welcome to season 6!!!!!!!!!! it's gonna be a wild ride. Season 6 Hype!!!!!!!!! The one thing that I want to ask is who do you think the the two serpents are that Octavia was referring to in that discussion with Diyoza? I am personally of the opinion that this line is referring to Octavia and Kane. As for why Clarke didn't shoot McCreary, that's a powder keg. One rash action could lead to everyone being killed. Besides, he has leverage with the Damocles and she is trying to save the planet from him. Best not to antagonize the guy that is literally a planet hostage. I do wish we could have seen what actually happened, but I don't think they really needed to show that. I love this finale so much. The emotional payoff of seeing Monty and Harper finally get their happy ending and the hope that this season ends with is truly wonderful. Season 6 is a brand new feel and I am so happy and excited to see you guys react to it as it is legitimately amazing and some of the best television I have ever seen. As for the Book One thing. This series is based off of a book series of the same name, however, the books were not published when the show was originally pitched, as such the books and the show are vastly different things. The only similarities are in name and a few characters. They chose to go with the "End Book One" thing to signify a changing of themes and new beginning for the characters and the show itself. Post season 5 the writers room went through a mass exodus. A lot of writers either left, got promoted (Kim Shumway was brought as executive producer for Season 6), or were let go. In turn they added some new writers including a couple writers from The Expanse. Season 6 is a turn toward hard sci-fi and the new book ultimately was a signal of things beginning anew. Alright so it took Monty 30 years to see that Earth was not coming back. He finished decryption at the 50 year mark in 2206. Then, because of the damage that Diyoza and the prisoners did in their that took out the starboard engine, the trip took them another 75 years. Thus placing them at the new planet in 2281, 125 years after they originally went to sleep. Timeline: 2156: They go to sleep 2158: Jordan is born 2166: Original wake up day 2176: Monty Starts Decryption of the Eligius 3 file 2184: Jordan goes to sleep 2206: Harper is dead from the genetic disorder Clarke was worried about and Monty finishes decryption, launching the Eligius IV toward the new planet 2281: Wake up, the party meets Jordan. In peace may leave this shore In love may you find the next Safe passage on your travels until our final journey to the Ground May We Meet Again! See you next week guys!!!

No matter what you think about this show, man they do sick finales. I looove S6 too but my dudes don't overhype it lol -- it would suck if they go in overhyped by us and don't like it.

This finale is probably my second favorite season finale besides 4x13 but yeah it’s a really bittersweet ending. The ending is so beautiful with bellarke comforting each other after loosing two of their closest friends while looking at their new world. But you guys aren’t ready for season six it’s beyond amazing.

This episode proves that fans and critics shouldn't jump to conclusions on how they feel about a show if they dislike where it currently is because it may end doing amazing things later down the line that makes the wait worth it.

I teared up at this finale too. So good! Season 6 is one of the best seasons of this show. Y’all are gonna love it! The main villain is also pretty fun and interesting too 😁

This was supposed to be the final season, that why it was so emotional. But as you know they got greenlit for another two seasons.

I used to watch this show week to week but when season 5 came around I decided not to watch it on till it was on Netflix and I thank my lucky stars that I did because I don't think I could have waited the entire time for season 6

amazing reaction guys, i loved this episode! ok so when Diyoza first showed Kane that she was pregnant she told him she was about 100 years pregnant. that means she was in cryo while pregnant before. also your both right Chris and Pat. when the prisoners first took the ship from their guards their plan was to use the democles bomb as leverage to land their ship, but when they got to earth they saw that there was only one green patch left. i cant wait for season 6!
