Death note is good to watch on your own but I think as a show for a reaction channel, it isnt a good choice. It's very analytical and the logic is sometimes hard to follow. And if you watch in dub its they only way for all of you to be able to follow. Because tbh if you watch in a group like always, it'll get all muddled up. My vote is for re:zero

Banana Fish- Written in a different time, but still their representation of gay men is troubling Black Clover- A moderate shonen story. Finish Naruto first. This has little that you can't get in Naruto in my opinion. Castlevania- Good animation and if you like the games a worthwhile watch Death Note- A classic and good watch (At least the first half, you know what I mean) Dr. Stone- A fairly good shonen. Creative and clever. Feel like the right crew could react well to this. Mob Psycho- Beautiful, funny, weird. A show all about hype. This would be a good reaction show. Mobile Suit Gundam 00- I actually haven't watched it yet so I can't make any judgments. Evangelion- A classic, but I feel like most of the Normies won't be about it. It's more cinematic and thoughtful than hype and eventful. Most of them will straight up hate Shinji. Re:Zero- The Normies first Isekai? Awesome story, I'm fine with it, but I'd rather they start out with a simpler Isekai to get used to the genre. But its such a good story and will make for good convos. Champloo- Classic. One of the best OPs ever. They'd love it. Gurren Lagann- A show built for hype moments. This was made to be reacted to. The Normies would lose their shit over this show. Tokyo Ghoul- Real solid first season. That's literally all I can say about this anime. They'd never read the manga but its just so much better. Tower of God- Their first Korean series. Off to a really good start. Only 4 eps are out (Out of 13). So we'll be back here soon. Trigun- One of the all time classic anime. Cinematic, funny, and later in the series downright heart-wrenching. Definitely recommend this. Vinland Saga- Actually, yeah. This is awesome. One of the few new anime that got me to go read the manga. Violet Evergarden- Beautifully animated, good direction, good characters. Only 13 episodes and a movie. I could either way on this one.

Of course I want them to get back on Death Note, we all know they want it too. Vinland Saga would also serve as a much more "realistic shonen" to give them a break from the tropey stuff they're watching right now. Not as much "anime logic" to complain about there. TTGL, Samurai Champloo, and NGE are never going to win. They really need to stop putting old classic anime against newer anime. Outside of older anime that is really mainstream, Naruto and Death Note, recent anime is always going to lead the polls due to recency bias. Tower of God is one of the leading shows on the poll and only 5 of 13 episodes have aired so far. It's ridiculous.
