2019-12-14 11:24:05 +0000 UTCThat's why I think it's objectively worse than The Office but why I enjoyed watching it more at the time it came out. The mundane, daily darkness is what makes The Office special. It shows us as we are while parks shows us as we want to be.

That's why so many actors get re-used among those shows and why P&R, B99 and TGP all have an underlying sweetness that I just love. Michael Schur doesn't do much mean humor and I love that about his shows. Also, just a little interesting factoid, he and Rashida Jones (Ann) wrote that Bryce Dallas Howard episode of Black Mirror!
