But becoming said superhero would require a f'ed up conscious (or lack thereof) and sense of self. Thereby making them different on some level from their peers. I love how adrian is eventually judged by his peers. He ended up saving the world, good on him, but even that doesn't exempt him from justice for his previous attempt & failure. Another chicken & the egg scenario
