Love your reactions to Deke! Did you guys know the actor Jeff Ward was originally cast as Virgil (the guide that dies early in the first ep of the season). The whole cast was so disappointed during the table read when he died so early on that the writers decided to give him the longer role as Deke!

Also yo-yo arm malfunction was foreshadowed last episode with her dropping the gun the first time she used her speed. That was the start of the glitch.

I think the difference between the 100 scenario and this is that the team here has actually seen the world destroyed. Scientifically evidence shows that it is going to happen unless they do something different. Where as in the 100 that is not the case.

Superior died. Hale wanted to use him for the machine. So his head was attached to that robot body. Yo-yo said part machine when she cut open his jacket. His head was human so he’s dead. FitzSimmons aren’t willing to let EACH OTHER die. There is a big difference that a lot of people don’t get. Simmons risked her life with the poison and Fitz’s was not happy about it even though his theory says she wouldn’t die. Because he is not ok with risking her life to test that theory. Each other is the key words. He would have to choose to let her be killed to break the loop but he could never do that. It’s selfish but understandable. The opening is a call back to season 1 when Fitz was going to jump to save Simmons in ep 6. He said he had trouble with the straps which is why he couldn’t save her first before ward. They are willing to let themselves die but the other could be killed so they don’t do it.
