No amount. The movies are (with two exceptions in Shippuden) filler. Only Suraj and Nahid were interested in watching just the first Naruto movie to see what it was like, the others not so much. They've got other things to watch on their schedule, they're not really itching to fit in a filler movie I think. When Nahid comes back maybe he & Suraj would watch it (or maybe they already have & it just hasn't been released yet)

The Normies know what it is, just not what it's about. If you scroll up you'll see Suraj talking about how they will watch Kakashi Gaiden the way the anime intended. I think story wise it works better the way the anime did it, cause most of us who read the manga, as we read manga volume 27 before Shippuden, theorized and guessed who a certain dude was. Whereas people I know who watched just the anime just believed a certain character to be exactly who he claimed to be because they had no knowledge of the other guy.

They're aware. Johnny Blue edited the Gaiden episodes for them if they wanted to watch it before Shippuden but the Normies decided to watch it whenever Shippuden aired it. The anime delayed the gaiden episodes so that the anime only audience would interpret a character the way the story is portraying them; those who read the manga never truly believed, to keep it vague.

I think Naruto has a good balance between action and drama, some animes with pure action like DBZ, one punch man, Beyblade, etc are very famous while other animes totally focused on drama are always short on budget because not so many people watch it, but somehow Naruto because worldwide famous selling some fights with lots of drama but some how people like it, they get touched by characters development, they are not only waiting for the next fight.

DBZ kicked off anime in the west but it was just action with no real character progression. It was just them fighting to get stronger with no other purpose. Naruto introduced character progression and really emotional moments in shounen anime. You didn't get much emotional turmoil in shounen anime's and it influenced a lot of anime's and manga's that came after. Naruto and Sasuke's rivalry seems like it was similar to Goku and Vegeta's but it expanded on their psychological point of view's and other anime's model after that. There will always be a Sasuke and there will always be a Naruto in anime's.

Now we just have to wait more 340 episodes to see that flashback of Naruto and Sasuke ignoring eachother as kids

This is what I've been waiting for ever since I saw how invested they were in the Naruto Sasuke friendship way back when. Watching them get hopeful that maybe Talk No Jutsu will save the day yet again, then start to second guess themselves, that was beautiful. Can't wait to see their reaction to the ending. Hope y’all see this. One thing you have to understand about the story of Naruto this was a weekly show that took breaks in between seasons. I’m mainly talking about the dub version the subs had it slightly better. The constant and repetitive flashbacks were kinda necessary. When we first saw the massacre flashback that was episode 80 something so it would have been a minimum of 50ish weeks in between those flashbacks. That’s almost a year. Not factoring in English cast having to dub the episode, holiday breaks, and any other reason the show took a break. So you see why the flashbacks like this are necessary most people aren’t going to remember after a year without a refresher. At least that’s what the producers thought remember anime wasn’t as big back then as today. It also allowed them to pad time and stretch episodes.

I don’t agree with Sasuke has been grooming a friendship to kill someone to gain Mangekyou Sharingan mostly because if he always intended to do that then he has been sucking at doing it. He is understandably very anti-social. It really works against the idea that he had been planning this from the start since he has been keeping everyone at bay for years. It would be easier for Sasuke who has a ton of admires to play himself up as the super cool and likable guy everyone would want to be friends with if he was planning this from the start. Come on, guys, he did not become Naruto's friend in order to kill him later. Reminder, he was ready to give up on his goal and sacrifice himself for Naruto several times, like in a fight against Haku. He just genuinely thought he could have a "normal life": become stronger while protecting his friends. That was until Itachi came back and fucked him up again, saying "You lack hatred". He was even ready to just go to Orochimaru without any Mangekyo Sharingans if Naruto did not decide to chase after him. He likes Naruto.

I agree with what you said here. It's slow at times but the payoff is really big. That said, even when it drags on such as the first arc, there does seem to be more fighting. There's just long ass fights in this series and I guess that's too be expected given they're fighting the best of the best at this point.

Sasuke doesn't know that Naruto has the nine tailed fox sealed inside of him. Only the adults that were around during the attack 12-13 years prior know. He also never seen the red chakra because he was knocked out during the Haku and Gaara fight, and arrived after Naruto beat Neji in the chunin exams.

I'm always so torn when i watch reactors reach the end of Naruto and are about to move to Shippuuden. I love Shippuuden, but I remember when I first watched it back in the day, the pacing threw me off. Granted, I had like months upon months to wait for it to come out, and was in Naruto filler hell, and when it came out it was just so slow. But Normies all I will say, is if you feel that way even in the slightest when you start Shippuuden, have no fear, as it delivers AMAZINGLY after the first couple arcs. No Spoilers, just wanted to help set expectations a bit with my point of view.

Its not that all dub voice acting is bad I LOVE DBZ and a few others but its just that its such a larger market in Japan and there are probably just way more people over there and that is their craft and has been for a long time.
