Sasuke wants to avenge his family and clan and realizes that staying in Konoha isn't going to give him the strength he needs to defeat Itachi so he leaves to train under Orochimaru to get power. The Leaf tried to stop him so he ends up facing Naruto, Sasuke had the opportunity to kill Naruto but refuses because that's not how he wants to obtain the power he is seeking. Sasuke isn't a villain, he still has his morals and ultimately ends up where he feels he needs to be; under Orochimaru's training the same as Naruto is under Jiraiya's.

I think you guys misunderstood sasukes revenge plot. Regardless of him killing naruto or not he was still going to leave in the first place because he wanted power. Sasuke wasnt even thinking about killing naruto until he chased him down to bring him back to the village. Sasuke isnt a villain lol he just wants revenge and considering his circumstances its pretty damn justified. Loved the reactions tho cant wait for shippuden.

It’s something they’ve been thinking about for a while, regardless of Nahid’s break. It’s something they normally do between 2 shows of the same universe (i.e Avatar —> Korra) ... Plus it’s a very logical choice considering how the story goes, and what it’ll do for their reactions when their excitement is at an all time high after the long wait.

As far as openings go, No Boy No Cry hits different when you read the english translation. It pairs really well with its ark and holds a ton of nostalgia. Was my favorite as a kid and is still very much my favorite. (Yura Yura is a close second)

You know, I will say that despite the infamous 100 episodes of filler being some of the most pointless episodes ever made, I do find some of them to be quite enjoyable. Specifically the more slice of life filler where you can just enjoy the characters being characters.

Also I was looking through 141, 142 and 220... they're all half filler half not filler. But the thing is that the filler pretends to relate to what's going on while being connected to other filler episodes. Isn't it gonna be weird seeing an ep take place in the middle of a filler situation and then seeing events repeat from a non-filler episode? (They repeat I assume because they have to end up right back where they left off before the fillers to segue into stuff that is from the manga again. But it's so weird seeing them back to back. They literally play out some of the same conversations. Though one of them will leave out something so that they can continue to the fillers while the other will add that something so they can continue to the actual ending.) Oh wait, they said supercut, so maybe someone is editing the non-filler parts for them so... okay I get it. Whoops.

It's because they're bundling 135 with a highlight reel of the "canon" parts of the filler episodes. If they did what you said we wouldn't get a full episode reaction next week so they're doing their best to make sure we have at least 1 full episode

Sasuke wasn't playing 5D chess. Meeting Itachi later made him realize how weak he is. Staying at the village he would be still too weak to go against Itachi. He didn't want to kill Naruto to gain the Mangekyo. He's really the strongest one taking the hardest path to accomplish his goal.

Kakashi told him he had to give up revenge. I always thought that was dumb advice, since if your teacher isn't willing to help you with your goal, obviously you will find a new one. But it's still wrong. The moral choice would be to give up on revenge and stay in the village, but that's not an easy choice. It's a legitimate dilemma. Personally I have no issue with morally grey antagonists. This show would suck if everyone was either a sociopath or pure good with no in between.

I think y'all are missing a little, when Sasuke vows to find power his own way that doesn't mean he's renounced the darkness or his abandonment of the leaf. It is referring specifically and exclusively to the fact that he couldn't bring himself in the end to kill Naruto. He's rejecting Itachi's path but not his own goal. The important takeaway is he could have finished Naruto and gained more power, but didn't. He's in the darkness, but he isn't completely lost in it yet.

"Anko has a curse mark yet she's still a ride or die for the leaf village" As far as we know about her, Anko's entire family wasn't slaughtered and the killer didn't force her to relive the slaughter through genjutsu (twice) to fuel her hatred. It's much easier to be swayed/influenced towards darkness/"evil" when you've had such a dark past. But regardless, the influence of the curse mark isn't the driving force behind Sasuke's actions. It's all due to his brother. So regarding the "There's always another way. Sasuke could've stuck with his friends or asked for help" point that Rana brought up... that's exactly what he was doing all this time lol. None of this would've happened if Itachi hadn't shown up and displayed the power difference between them; making Sasuke start thinking "All this time spent here in the leaf, and for what?" The final nail in the coffin was the sound 4 showing up to flex the power they got from Orochimaru, finally pushing Sasuke to desert the leaf for that same power. If you're going to hate anybody or call anybody a bitch, Itachi should be the one that gets the blame for pushing Sasuke down this path.

Guys I feel I should explain this. But Naruto is being a little selfish during fight. Don't get me wrong he wants to truly save sasuke, but ultimately what he wants to keep sasuke from leaving him. Even though Sasuke has made it clear that this is a choice that he needs to make. When ask why he should return Naruto tries guilt trips him with the others sacrifices. And to Quote Naruto himself he said " Sasuke I will break every single bone in your body and drag you back" Im denying that Sasuke isn't a bit of an ass but Naruto isn't innocent in this either.
