He should be back by episode 9 or 10 depending on whether or not they go ahead and watch two in a row for the next couple of weeks without him. If they just watch 1 episode or 2 max it should give enough time for him to be back by 10 maybe....???

So... Najid mentioned taking a break from the Normies during the Naruto finale. Does that means that his absence in MHA is from that? Makes sense if so. And maybe I missed it somehow. Kind've a shame cuz I want to see his reaction to this part. You're almost caught up. I assume he's watching it on his own though.

Hate to be that person, but Eri's name is pronounced "Eh-ree", not "eerie." Typically, I can forgive dub watchers, but Eri plays a pretty big role in this arc. I was eating while watching this and every time that I looked down and heard someone say "eerie," in my mind I was like "what part of this episode was eerie?" No hate, just pls make that change if you read this comment. As a general rule of thumb, if you know a name is Japanese, you can use the following pronunciations (they're pretty simple and it's always consistent unlike English): a - ah (like awesome) i - ee (or ē) (like creepy) u - oo (like who or you) e - eh (like meh or yeh) o - oh (like "oh snap" or toe) So, Naruto = Nah-roo-toe (not Nar-roo-toe) Midoriya = Mee-doe-ree-yah (not Mee-door-ree-ah) Eri = Eh-ree (not eerie lol) There are exceptions like Sasuke (pronounced Sauce-keh). When the "su" symbol is in the middle of a word, the "u" sound rolls off the tongue if you say it fast enough. Lastly, there are combined vowel sounds. For instance, the name Mei is pronounced "May" because its just like saying "Meh-ee" but quicker. Same with Mai being pronounced "My" (just Mah-ee said faster). I'm probably doing too much by typing all this out, I just thought it would be useful to know if you guys so happen to read it.

Also cause I have fun with this kinda thing, here's a scorecard I'll update over the course of the arc! Status of the Shie Hassakai as of where you are: One of the 8 Bullets (big guy) is fighting Ryukyu at the gate. In the tunnels are three groups- a trio and two pairs. In addition we've got the leaders: the small guy (location unknown), and Kurono and Overhaul (at the end of the maze, trying to escape). 11 major opponents stand between the heroes and Eri. Here we go.

The quirk boosting drug was definitely mentioned last episode. They did gloss over it a bit, due to quirk boosting drugs being a known thing in-universe. While I know this doesn't help the anime-only audience, for the manga, quirk boosting drugs were introduced in the spin-off/prequel series My Hero Academia Vigilantes. They're also mentioned in Two Heroes, when Dave is explaining his quirk-enhancing device.
