with how the law of surprise works it would be very hard for a woman to be surprised that shes pregnant but not know about it beforehand. its why usually a child of surprise happens when the husband promises it

I think it would've made more sense if he had met her as a toddler or something .... or rather than hug, have her come up behind him, say "Geralt?" or something similar, he turns around and it ends. The hug was super strange for me.

That said his control over chaos probably isn’t as strong when his focus is split with an intense combat, so maybe he was exerting more of himself per cast than he normally would be. There’s also the consideration that his fighting prowess may also be magicallly induced.

Can't believe we have to wait so long now 😲😭 The ending was weird for me, can someone explain it ... Why was Gerald calling out for Yennifer? He wasn't at the battle, so was that in his mind, did he sense something had happened to her?
