I personally didn't expect Komugi to be hit by an arrow the first time I watched it and then when I saw it I expected Meruem to regress and rage. For this character that acted like a petulant child at points to calm himself down, prioritize Komugi's health, treat Pitou as a friend and not a servant (which literally brings her to tears), and then treat the people responsible for injuring Komugi with grace and respect is freaking awesome. Meruem really did appreciate the fact that netero and zeno didnt continue attacking and he returns the favor by sparing their lives as he walks past them while they are distracted. (He could have probably killed them both right there). Also the slow down time and the narrator make things really tense in my opinion. Almost like you can't catch your breath.
