[Premium Access] Lucifer - 1x1 Pilot - Group Reaction + Uncut

Not gonna lie I was apprehensive about this show when it won the reaction wheel. I didn't think I'd give it a try but I did and I'm really glad I was wrong. The show reminded me a little about Psych when I used to watch it back in the day. They're both like a case an episode kinda deals but with some major plot points progressing over time. But yeah so far I think the show has definitely impressed me and I'm sure I'll binge it before too long.

So Part 5a just aired on Netflix a few months ago. 5b supposedly to air the beginning of 2021. It was supposed to end with season 5. And apparently writers had even already written the series finale. But Netflix came back and said they wanted one more. Seems more fitting to end it at 6 anyway .

If you can accept the "case of the week" format, the show is good. It's much like Bones where the character interactions are more interesting than the murder they have to solve week to week.

Some background on Lucifer. This version of Lucifer is based on the character from the Neil Gaiman comic saga of Sandman. In that, Lucifer quits hell, trapping the Sandman with the keys to it. Lucifer retires but gets bored and opens a nightclub in LA called Lux. The only other character in common is his friend/assistant/sidekick Maze. Some disappointment from the fans is the gulf between that character and what we have here, but it is a fun show nonetheless. It's something to keep in mind if you guys start reacting to the Sandman Netflix series when it comes out next year or 2022 (currently filming).

First time seeing Spidey, nice to meet you.!!! I love this show, is one of my favorites, and yeah, Netflix now own the rights to it after Fox cancelled it. You will be impressed with everything going on, and I think they are in production of the last season, don't quote me on that, I may be wrong. I hope you guys enjoy the show as much as I did.

So 3 things, while its not exactly a tv version of it, this is the dc comics version pf lucifer, though heavily altered because its more they got the rights to make it but didnt directly copy the source material. 2, it came out in 2015 not 2009, and 3 i foresee alot more pf rana kinda fangirling over lucifer
