it's common to assume it's not a girl, as most mass murderers tend to be men, even more so in Japan

"None of them are assuming it's a girl."
...if they assumed it was a girl, then that'd just make for shitty writing.
Every single person that has ever watched the show would ask "How do they know the second Kira is a girl?"
Also there's the fact that the second Kira is using a comedically masculine voice for her videos.

It's NEVER implied he's special aid, not once. He's socially awkward because he lives an isolated lifestyle, he has weird quirks because he's a weird, intelligent person. Weird =/= special needs.

From what I've seen of this show so far (I'm a few episodes ahead of the Normies) L is definitely not a sociopath. And he's probably not autistic. He's just eccentric

I always thought it was implied that L was specially abled. He’s probably some kind of sociopathic autistic type. I don’t know. Like he has weird quirks and ticks. But he’s really smart. And you guys over here talking smack. About probably the most popular character in this thing to the entire fanbase. lmao

shinigami are real japanese lore. knowing about them is as normal and common place as you westerners knowing about angels or santa claus. doesnt mean he thinks they are real or know about the whole world and stuff, just that he knows his japanese culture and history

what if ryuk is having so much fun he tries to save light's life and he dies? or because he doesnt love him he doesnt die? cause they say fall in love is part of it, if its for his own selfish gains does he still die?

Never had a weird coincidence? The cafe thing is less coincidental than what I have experienced. Once I met my neighbor in a country 5000km away(3106 miles) while on vacation

After watching the Death Note movie on Netlfix I wanted to stick a knife in my brain to delete the memory of watching it. It was atrocious

Nahid looks a lot closer to L than Light, not sure why he's raggin' when you got that hairdo and those sunken eyes my guy.

The coincidental sort of "meeting" at the end is just very anime y'know? They wanted you guys to feel the suspense that's all haha. Also just as a reminder a Shinigami can only been seen once a person has touched that specific Shinigami's death note.

The Netflix adaptation of the movie sucks..... the ones made in Japan are good and the casting is amazing.

It is never stated how many years Gelus actually had when he gave his lifespan to Misa. He could've only added 10 years to her which would still be well beyond its natural end. It is also implied that Shinigami are lazy and only kill when they need to, making it less likely that Gelus had a large lifespan stockpiled.

Just so you guys know Gelus extended Misa's life "well beyond it's natural end" which means even though she did the Shinigami eye deal she still has several hundred years left on her life span.
