Chuck was still an asshole to Jimmy and he's supposed to just forget that? I'm not saying that Jimmy has always been innocent but a lot of his missteps have stemmed from his fucked up relationship with Chuck.

And his pride and inability to see Jimmy could be a good person are probably the biggest factors in what pushed Jimmy into being Saul. But Jimmy just shrugging off his death and throwing his guilt back at other people just comes off as... understandable but... cold... and inhuman. I'm sorry but it's normal to feel disturbed by Jimmy's lack of reaction. As empathetic creatures, we kinda just expect emotion. And when we can't get a read on someone else's... it's just weird. So the Normies feeling put-off by Jimmy right now makes sense, and I can't fault them for it.

Also, seems like you guys somehow forgot the first three seasons where everybody was cussing out Chuck for how outrageously terrible he was being to Jimmy. Their very last talk with each other ended on such an ugly note, and even Chuck’s letter read as so insincere for his character. Chuck may have died, but he has wronged Jimmy so much that those wrongs seem to outweigh Jimmy’s grief for Chuck’s death.

There's a reason that episode opened with a young Chuck reading a story to a young Jimmy - to show he did matter to him. He loved his brother. He loved him when he said that - it was saying that to him that caused his relapse. Not being ousted from HHM, not getting what he wanted from the trial - it was saying that to Jimmy that did it. All of those other things broke him. And he wanted someone to blame for being broken, because Chuck was a very proud man, and he blamed Jimmy. Chuck absolutely had his faults but he wasn't a bad person, just a stubborn one. That letter was sincere, and yeah, likely written when Jimmy was in the mail room. But he meant it. The five thousand could have been a change made some point afterwards, or he could have been afraid that leaving Jimmy too much money would rob him of momentum and drive. Or he simply felt he couldn't trust what Jimmy would do with a large amount of money. He loved his brother, but he knew him.

Chuck was a senior partner at a nationally recognized firm with almost no family besides Jimmy left. He could have given him A LOT more money if he actually cared about him. As for the letter, it was almost certainly written well before Chuck and Jimmy's last conversation, which, if you remember, ended with Chuck telling him, "You never really matters all that much to me." A condescending letter that was written probably before Jimmy ever completed law school would do nothing to change Jimmy's view of Chuck. Especially after all Jimmy did for him.

And regarding the letter, think of it from Jimmy's perspective, the last words that he heard from his brother was "You never mattered all that much to me". Chuck is dead to Jimmy, and he doesn't believe anything Chuck says, the entire letter was a contradiction to the way Chuck actually felt toward Jimmy, and he knows that. In Jimmy's eyes, Chuck was always against him, despite all that Jimmy did to care for Chuck throughout his illness.

Considering that Chuck said things afterwards that contradicted what was said in this letter I think Jimmy can't be bothered to be affected by what he feels are false words left by his brother to make him think he cared.
