The whole me questioning if the statue is real or not is because I got done watching Demon Slayer recently. In Demon slayer the fandom has me going back in forth wondering if the Tanjiro Water breathing style if its real water or not. The flashbacks of Netero obtaining so much power and aura are basically making people bow down and not want to fight him. He had to be graceful in their defeat. But he asked himself "when was it when I stopped being graceful in an opponent's defeat " (or something like that). Becasue it's not what he really wanted. He wanted to test his power against an individual. Hence why he is grateful for this meeting with the king. I watched this episode several times and in dubbed as well
