I agree with Pat - this show has recycled so many storylines that most of it is pretty stale. Also, I can't believe you didn't let Nahid talk at all in the beginning, Suraj and Mickey. That was rude as hell. You all shut up for everyone else (when Marketa or Chris ever want to speak, you always let them finish, even if they have negative comments or disagree with the popular opinion.) That was bad form, you guys, you let him talk for about 5 seconds before interrupting.

I love legends of tomorrow, it is way more entertaining than it has any right to be. That being said agents of shield is miles better. The similarities are arbitrary. The ship was invisible 3 years before legends even began their run so technically aos had an invisible ship first.

Regarding Roswell, the whole alien spaceship/weather balloon incident happened in 1947, so the show wasn't saying that it was actually the Zephyr. They just meant that another spaceship sighting wouldn't be out of place.

this episode was a blast. it gave me some strong season 1 vibes particularly T.R.A.C.K.S with the coulson and simmons going undercover together part lmao. i thought you'd have to watch agent carter to fully appreciate sousa's appearance but honestly i think you got it even though you had no prior knowledge. still do recommend watching the show though simply bc it's very good! i feel like may and yo-yo are both going through something similar to what fitz went through between season 4 and season 5. going through extreme traumatic experiences with absolutely no time to deal with it and then being thrust into anther high stress situation. i mean the whole team has experienced traumatic events but yo-yo was used to perform some pretty evil things (like fitz in the framework) and may literally died. those are heavy things lmao. i like that they're still struggling to work through them, it makes them more real to me. and idk if any of you guys know this but the actor who plays sousa was actually in the avengers playing a random police officer so my wish is that they somehow move sousa to the future and put him there lmao it would be a fun mcu tie in that wouldn't have any huge lasting impacts on the greater story IT'S POSSIBLE AND I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT!! and hello kansas mention!! my home state, you're probably right we've got so much space here i'd be surprised if some weird stuff wasn't hiding around here. i live in a city in the eastern part of the state but western kansas is a whole big unexplored being i can't even imagine what goes on there lmao also isn't the chronicom world already gone? that's why they're doing what they're doing bc their world was destroyed right? i'm gonna be honest i'm kinda confused about that whole part of this season. still having fun with it tho!!

LMAO...Most of y'all already covered majority of the point of why Nahid arguement is so flawed, but just to add a little bit to Coulson getting revived. Coulson did not get revived. Sarge was an entity from the fear dimension that created a body in Coulson's image. LMD Coulson is an android version of Coulson with all of Coulson's memories, feelings, and past experiences. The real Coulson stayed dead since the end of season 5. The stakes are still there.

I see time travel in AoS as the show simply continuing to follow the thematic trends of the MCU movie as this season was filmed around the release of Endgame.

i kinda agree with the fact that this finale was not as good as last season finale... and this season is lacking, it could be better, but still Ride or Die, so im in it to the End no matter what they do, but still this season needs to pick up a pit. But I will admit this episode was reallly good and feels like its slighlty getting better, so heres hoping.

season 1 of LoT was insanely bad, however season 2 was amazing and 3 was pretty good as well. I still thinks Shield is way better though, but LoT is more focused on comedy.

I really dislike the CW superhero shows (an opinion formed after watching 5 seasons of Arrow, 3 seasons of Flash and 1 season of LoT). But if people prefer it over AoS, that's totally cool. You do you, Nahid.

I get what Nahid is saying about them being similar but I do agree with the everyone else. I mean Legends didn't coin having an invisible and traveling through time, and in terms of taking from other source material, how much has Legends taken from Doctor Who? But I don't see it as Legends ripping off from Who, or AOS stealing from Legends. Because each of these shows does something different with these ideas and each one has its own unique style and character. The Tardis Fam would do something different from what the Legends would go. And the Legends would never act the same way as the AOS crew.

Nahid, just saying, the main character of Legends of Tomorrow (Sara Lance) died before the show even started, on Arrow, and multiple times on the show... They've definitely done more death / character leaving fake-outs than AoS, between Amaya/Charlie, Zari1/Zari2, Behrad, Damien Darhk and more... In fact literally the entire cast died this season in the Zombie episode and was resurrected next episode in Fateworld. (not to mention all the characters that died in Crisis and were returned)

Enver Gjokaj (Sousa) is one of the most underrated actors EVER.. He was incredible in Dollhouse. He’s got such an amazing wheelhouse, which you see on that show in particular. He’s gotten typecast a lot though and Agent Carter was the first thing I saw since Dollhouse where he didn’t play Russian mob lol

I love Legends of tomorrow its by far the best of the DC shows but AOS is the best comic book show on TV. At this point neither of the shows are really about the week to week plot they are pure fan service and following a group of actors and characters that people love.

1) I think Nahid was right about you guys interrupting. However repetitive he was being, he was not speaking that long before the interruptions started. And in terms of the argument lol I think the most fundamental difference- second to the production value, is absolutely that the dialogue and plot development for this show- is a lot better. Super hero cw shows tend to be tropey and cliche in every aspect to me- right down to the dialogue. That said- I have only seen a couple episodes of legends of tomorrow- and I have a big bias with the creators for this show, which also were executive producers and the main writers of Dollhouse.

I feel like the John Wayne fan this episode nahid. I understand what you are saying about the similarities but to me that isn’t the point of why they are telling this story. this show is also giving us shield’s history as a last sort farewell and this is a good way to do it. Also you saw this episode that may coming back isn’t as simple and neither is coulson “coming back” This is a comic book show so it can get weird sometimes

Imagine just IMAGINE trying to compare the awful writing and quality of the CW superhero lineup to AoS. I would love to root for the DC shows because I'm a diehard DC fan at heart but those shows do not do their source material any real justice. This guy just seems to have terrible taste in shows since he's trying to downplay AoS and he even doesn't like The 100 which has grown so much as a show since its very first season its amazing much like AoS.

Doctor Who, Quantum Leap and Sliders all came well before Legends. Did legends rip off those shows? Movies and shows should be allowed to tell their own stories based on existing ideas. They either work or don't. And if you want to get technical, all time travel related stories were basically taken from H.G. Wells. Hell, every single thing made today, is essentially stolen from something that came before, e.g. every cop and medical drama.

Legends of Tomorrow and AOS both have time traveling invisible ships but both shows put their different spins on the concept. In Legends of Tomorrow, you can go back and forth in time while in AOS you can only keep moving forward(so far). Also LOT is mostly focused on comedy and character interaction while AOS is focused on plot and nostalgia. As a person who has fully watched all seasons of both shows, you have to just wait till the season is over before fully judging the content, because so far I am loving the MCU's spin on it.

And even that argument doesn't hold water as the ONLY thing they have in common is they're time-travel based. Big deal.

Why continue to watch if you don't enjoy it anymore? Also the only argument I heard against it from Nahid was that it's copying the structure/elements from legends of tomorrow. Even if it's true, why is that inherently a bad thing? If you dislike the story/characters/acting, that makes sense. If you dislike it because it's doing similar things to another show you like, I don't follow the logic. To me this particular argument just sounds like he's being defensive because the others dislike CW shows, instead of an actual criticism of shield.

Hi, I mean I understand where Nahid’s point come from, I watch legends of tomorrow too! And yes, there are some similarities but this is definitely not legends style!! Because remember legends screw things for the better, they change minor things to history all the time and some major changes too like with Amaya’s grandchildren, they really changed history and preserving time at the same time! BUT AOS is different!! This whole season is about S.H.I.E.L.D.’s own history and existence going back from retrospective view!! They are fighting for their own existence unlike the legends they are outcasts they don’t matter to the timeline remember? So AOS is about saving history, they cannot mess things up like the legends, and finally legends is more of a fun ridiculously style show, the AOS tone is way more serious! So yeah, I understand that most superhero shows can’t help but have similarities or ideas but AOS is still really worth watching!!😇😇love the reactions as always!!
