This premiere is off to a fantastic start. I can already tell the story is going to be great as we just jumped right into this one with all kinds of lore and the characters meeting up.

It relates to the illusion magic she is able to do. What she creates may not be "real" but it is perceived as real. It can be seen as a parallel to one of the thought experiments about the world actually being a simulation a la the Matrix. If our perception of the world is governed by the signals in our brains then how can we really tell what is real and what is fake? If the simulation of a steak causes your brain to perceive the taste, texture, and pleasure of eating a steak then how is that really different from actually eating a steak?
