So Kenshiro, from Fist of the North Star, has mastered an ancient assassination art called Hokuto Shinken. He strikes hidden points on the body rapidly which leaves his opponent seemingly fine, only to die horribly shortly thereafter. It's the origination of the "Omae wa mou shindeiru." meme, which means "You are already dead." As a protagonist he's fairly OP. A skyscraper fell on him as he was walking and he didn't even flinch as it cracked in half over his head.

Fun fact. The real Yu Ghi Oh series is actually 30% about the card game. The american publisher changed the whole series just to create the card business.

As much as i'd love them to watch it, i feel like they should be familiar with the original to appreciate the abridged version of it, since a lot of it's jokes, like DBZA, are them making fun of the original. Same with Hellsing Abirdged. Might just be me though.

Takahata101, who voices Cell and several other characters in DBZA, *was* the voice of Deadpool in Death Battle. They got Xander Mobus to voice Deadpool here instead of having Takahata101 reprise the role, Xander being the voice of the Protag in Persona 5 and the announcer in some Super Smash Bros. games.
